I was downloading photos today on my computer and ran across this photo. It was when Vic and I went out to see dad at UCSF 2 months before he died. This was the last time Vicki saw him. I am so glad we remembered to take a picture.
Wish Wendy could have been there.

This is a nice picture Jen. I think Dad looked good with a grey mustache and beard! Would have liked to see him sport that for a while. I got used to his face without a mustache since it came and went, but always preferred it. He had it when I met him, but have shaved it off when I got to Hawaii - I almost ran back on the plane!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad we took this pic, but it makes me really sad. He was so depressed, and it shows on his face. He was really having a hard time accepting what was happening. Makes me wish I could snatch him out of that picture, give him a huge hug and a kiss and stick him in my pocket where I could take care of him forever.
